About the platform
What Indian services and products can I find on Indian Artists Global?
Indian Artists Global lists Indian arts, culture and community life for the diaspora worldwide: concerts, festivals, comedy and dance events; workshops and classes (music, dance, yoga, cooking, art, languages); artist profiles with their latest Instagram and YouTube work; a shop with art, prints, fashion, instruments, digital downloads and food products from independent Indian sellers; family and kids events, movies and campus events; a Community Board for classifieds such as housing, services, jobs and items for sale; and, where available, Indian restaurants, cafés and grocery stores with menus and ticket-holder discounts.
How do I find Indian events and services near me?
Pick your country from the selector in the header — the platform remembers it and shows events, artists, workshops and shops for that country, with city filters on every listing page. On Events you can also enable location to see what's closest to you and open the map view. Footer links jump straight to popular cities such as Dublin, London, Berlin, Frankfurt and Amsterdam.
Can I find online Indian services?
Yes. Many workshops and classes run online (look for the online badge and choose 'All countries' to see them wherever they're hosted), artists share their performances as media on their profiles, the shop sells digital downloads such as music, guides and recordings, and organisers can list externally ticketed and streamed events.
Are Indian financial, tax or immigration services listed?
Not as a category today. The Community Board lets members advertise professional services, and we plan a money-transfer comparison for sending EUR and GBP to India — a comparison and referral service only; we never hold or move money. Anything financial or legal you find through the platform is offered by the independent provider under its own regulation and terms.
Are artists, organisers and sellers verified?
Every artist profile, event, workshop, product and media link is reviewed before it goes live — an automated check followed by our moderation team where needed. Sellers complete identity and business verification with our payment processor before they can receive payouts. Listers declare that a listing is their own and agree to our Community Guidelines, and profiles that draw complaints or come to our attention are suspended pending review. That said, providers are independent businesses: check their details and reviews as you would anywhere.
How do I contact an organiser, artist or seller?
Each event and workshop page shows the organiser's contact details and a link to their profile; artist profiles carry their website and social links and a follow button; each shop page has the store's support email, and your order page lets you message the seller about that order. For anything about the platform itself, use the Contact page or ask our assistant in the chat bubble.
Who is responsible for an event, workshop, product or artist's service — the platform or the person listing it?
The organiser, seller or artist. Indian Artists Global (Datameal Ltd) is the platform that lists them and processes the booking or payment; it does not organise events, run workshops, make or ship products or provide artists' services, and it does not check or guarantee their quality. If an event, product or service is not what you expected, contact the organiser, seller or artist first — their contact details and refund or returns policy are on the listing page. The platform processes the refunds they approve under that policy, helps you reach them, and acts on reports of fraud or rule breaches, but it is not responsible for the event, product or service itself and cannot refund on their behalf outside their policy.
Can I list my own event, class, artist profile or products?
Yes — listing is free. Create an account, then from your dashboard you can list an event or workshop (free or ticketed, with images and up to five ticket types), build an artist profile with your Instagram and YouTube media, or open a shop with product photos, pricing, stock and shipping options; listings go live after moderation. Restaurants, cafés and grocery stores can apply to be listed via the Contact page. You pay nothing to list; a platform fee applies only to paid tickets and orders and is shown in your dashboard before you publish.
List your own — it's free
Sign in or create an account and you'll land straight on the form. Listings go live after moderation.
Tickets & check-in
How do I get my ticket after buying?
Right after payment you'll see your tickets on the confirmation page — each one with its own QR code — and you can download them as a PDF voucher named after your order number (the event image and details at the top, then every ticket's QR code in sequence) or share it straight to your phone. The same PDF is attached to your confirmation email, and every ticket is always available under My Tickets in your dashboard. Show the QR at the door, printed or on your phone.
Can I buy multiple tickets in one order?
Yes — choose the quantity at checkout, mixing ticket types if you like. Every ticket gets its own QR code in the PDF, so each person can check in separately.
Do I need an account to book?
No. Free events and workshops can be booked with just your name and email — your tickets are emailed to you and shown on screen. Paid tickets work as a guest too (checkout collects your card and email). If the email you use already has an account, the tickets appear in that account's My Tickets automatically; if you create an account with that email later, they're added as soon as you confirm the address. Signing in also adds loyalty points.
Are there booking fees?
No booking fees for buyers. Free events and workshops are completely free — no platform fee is charged to you or the organiser. Organisers pay a small platform fee only on paid orders.
What payment methods are accepted?
All major cards via Stripe. Payments are encrypted and we never store your card details.
I didn't receive my ticket — what do I do?
Check My Tickets in your dashboard first. If it's not there, contact us with your order email and we'll resend it.
Events & refunds
Can I get a refund?
Each organiser sets the refund policy shown on the listing, and refunds are the organiser's decision under that policy — contact the organiser first (message or WhatsApp on the listing page). Where the organiser approves a refund they issue it from their dashboard and it goes back to your original payment method. Indian Artists Global processes the refunds organisers approve and is not liable for refunds beyond the organiser's policy; if you cannot reach the organiser, contact our support with your order number and we will help you get an answer.
What happens if an event is cancelled?
The organiser will be in touch and ticket holders are refunded in full to the original card. Postponed? The organiser must offer the new date or a refund — contact them first; our support can help if they do not respond.
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
The QR is tied to your order. For name changes, contact the organiser or our team ahead of the event.
The event wasn't what I expected — who do I complain to?
The organiser. They are responsible for the event — its line-up, venue, timing, safety and any change or cancellation — and for refunds under the policy shown on the listing. Message them from the event page (or on WhatsApp where offered) with your order number. The platform is not the organiser and is not responsible for how the event was run; it can process a refund the organiser approves, help you reach them, and will step in for fraud, no-shows by the organiser or breaches of our rules.
Loyalty & membership
What is my membership number?
Every member gets a loyalty number like IAG-000123, shown on your Loyalty page with a scannable QR. You earn points on purchases and by attending events.
How do I earn and use points?
Earn points automatically on ticket and shop purchases, plus a bonus when you're scanned in at an event. Points unlock tiers and perks shown on your Loyalty page.
Why book (and sell) with us
Why book tickets here rather than on a general ticketing site?
The price you see is the price you pay — no booking fee is added at checkout. Sign in when you book and organisers' loyalty programmes give you an automatic discount on every next booking with them. Every ticket has its own QR code and PDF, you can book for friends and family in one order, discount codes show as a line on your invoice, guests can book without an account, and your tickets live under My Tickets with the organiser's refund policy printed on the listing.
Why list my event or workshop here rather than on a general ticketing site?
Three reasons: cost, audience and loyalty. During launch we charge organisers no platform fee — the only cost on a paid order is Stripe's card processing, and free events cost nothing. The people browsing here came looking for Indian and South Asian events, workshops, food and culture in their city, so your listing appears in This Weekend, city pages, search, carousels and the weekly newsletter without paid promotion. And your loyalty programme gives returning fans an automatic discount on every next booking with you. See /pricing.
Do attendees pay extra fees?
No. Attendees pay the ticket price you list. There is no booking fee during launch, and discounts — promo codes, loyalty — show as their own line at checkout and on the invoice.
How does organiser loyalty work for fans?
Sign in when you book. Your loyalty number is created with your account. After your first confirmed booking with an organiser who runs a loyalty programme you are a member of that organiser's programme, and every next booking with them is discounted automatically — you will see “Loyalty discount” on the listing, at checkout and on your invoice. Memberships are per organiser.
How quickly do organisers get paid, and can we see the numbers?
Sales settle to your Stripe account and pay out weekly or monthly automatically, or on demand from your Payouts page. Your sales page shows gross, refunds, fees and net per event; buyers get an invoice per order.
What makes workshops different here?
Workshops are first-class listings with spots, capacity, tiers such as early bird, student and observer, multi-spot bookings for friends, and the teacher's WhatsApp on the page — not just an event with a different label.
What about safety, refunds and support?
Organisers set a refund policy per listing and cancellation always means a full refund. Refunds go back to the card from the organiser's dashboard. Every listing is moderated before it goes live, and a small team answers on email and WhatsApp for free and paid events alike.
Events & workshops
How do I find what's on this weekend?
Open This Weekend in the header (or the This Weekend tab on Events and Workshops). It gathers everything from Friday to Sunday in your region — events, classes, films showing and special nights — and every card opens the booking page.
Can I book several tickets or spots for friends and family?
Yes. Choose the quantity per ticket type — up to 10 per order across types — and every person gets their own QR code. This works for events and workshops, free or paid, and you can come back later to book more.
What are ticket types like early bird, VIP or group?
Organisers can set up to five ticket types per event or workshop, each with its own price, quantity and sale window. Early bird closes automatically when its window ends or its allocation sells out; group tiers are priced per bundle and listed with what they include.
How do discount codes work?
Enter the code in the booking box before you check out. The discount appears as its own line at payment (and on your invoice), so what you pay is transparent. Codes are set by the organiser or the platform and may be limited by date or number of uses.
Where do I find the events I've booked?
Under My Tickets (each ticket with its QR and PDF) and My Activity → Upcoming, where tickets are grouped by order with the invoice. Guests receive the same by email and see them in an account created with that email later.
I'm an organiser — how do I list an event or workshop?
Sign in and use Create Event or List a Workshop from the footer or your dashboard: details, images, venue, up to five ticket types with prices, quantities and sale windows, sponsors and your discount codes. Listings go live after moderation, usually within 24 hours. Selling on another ticketing platform instead? Add it as an off-platform listing and we'll show it with a Buy link.
What does listing cost, and how do organisers get paid?
Listing is free and the platform fee is €0 during launch; on paid orders only Stripe's card processing is deducted. Sales settle to your Stripe account and pay out weekly, monthly or on demand from your Payouts page.
Can attendees check in with their phone?
Yes. Each ticket has a unique QR that scans once at the door with the organiser's scanner page; check-ins, refunds and voids are all tracked per ticket.
For artists & organisers
How do I list an event?
Create an account, then use Create Event in your dashboard to add details, upload banner/poster images, and set ticket tiers. Events start as drafts until you publish.
How do I get paid?
Ticket revenue is processed through Stripe. Payouts and invoicing are managed from your organiser dashboard.
Can I send my event via Instagram?
Yes — DM or tag our accounts (@indian_artists_global / _europe / _ireland) and our team turns it into a listing for review.
Shopping
What can I buy in the shop?
Art prints, handcrafts, musical instruments, fashion, digital downloads (music, guides, recordings) and food products — sold by verified independent Indian artists and stores. Filter by category or country, or search by name.
Who am I buying from?
Each product page shows the seller's store, support email and location. Sellers complete identity and business verification with our payment processor before they can receive payouts, and every product is reviewed before it goes live.
How is delivery handled, and what does it cost?
Physical items ship from the seller, who sets the shipping options and prices you see at checkout. Digital items are delivered instantly as a download after payment. Delivery times are shown on the product page.
Can I return an item or get a refund?
Contact the seller from your order page first — most issues are sorted directly. If you can't reach agreement, contact us with the order number and we'll step in. Your statutory consumer rights apply to physical goods; digital downloads are non-refundable once accessed unless faulty.
Who is responsible if a product is faulty, late or not as described?
The seller — the store named on the product page sells, ships and supports the item, and sets its returns and replacement policy. Contact the seller from your order page first. Indian Artists Global (Datameal Ltd) is the marketplace that lists the product and processes the payment; it does not make, check or ship products and is not responsible for their quality or delivery. Your statutory consumer rights against the seller are unaffected; if a seller does not respond, contact us with the order number and we will help you reach them.
Can I use loyalty points or a discount code in the shop?
Yes. Store coupons are entered at checkout and shown as a separate line on your invoice, and you can redeem loyalty points on eligible orders. Points are earned on every purchase.
How do I sell on the platform?
Create an account and open a shop from your dashboard (footer → List Service or Product): add products with photos, pricing, stock and shipping, or list a service. Listing is free; a platform fee applies to paid orders and is shown before you publish.
Deals & offers
What are Deals?
Discount coupons from verified stores and partners — redeemable on the platform, on the merchant's own site, or in person. The Deals page lists what's live in your country with the terms of each offer.
How do I redeem a deal?
Open the deal and copy the code, then enter it at checkout in the shop or on the merchant's site. Some dining and grocery partners offer ticket-holder discounts: show your event ticket QR at the venue.
Do deals expire or have limits?
Each deal shows its validity dates and any usage cap. Once a cap is reached or the date passes, the code stops working and the deal is removed from the page.
Are deals sent by email?
Subscribers to the weekly newsletter get the roundup of events, workshops and deals near them. You can manage that in your Privacy settings or the footer sign-up.
I run a business — can I offer a deal or sponsor a discount?
Yes. Verified stores create coupons from their store dashboard, and brands can sponsor discount codes on tickets or orders with every redemption counted — see Advertise with Us for the options.
Safety & fraud
Will you ever phone or text me asking for money?
No — never. We do not make phone calls, send text messages, WhatsApp messages or e-mails asking you to pay, transfer money, share card details, one-time codes or passwords, or "verify" an account with a payment. Anyone contacting you in the name of the platform, an organiser, an artist or our support team to ask for money that way is a scammer. Hang up, do not reply, and report it to us.
How do I pay safely, then?
Only inside the website or the app: tickets, workshops and shop orders are paid on our checkout page, which is run by Stripe, and the address bar always shows our own domain. We never send payment links by text or WhatsApp, never ask for bank transfers to a personal account, and never ask for gift cards, crypto or app-store codes. Free events are confirmed without any payment.
How do I know an e-mail is really from you?
Our e-mails come only from our own domain and never ask for your password or a one-time code — those codes are typed into our site or app, never shared with anyone. If an e-mail or message pressures you to act within minutes, threatens to cancel your tickets, or asks you to click a link to "confirm a payment", it is not from us. Open the website yourself and check My Tickets or Orders instead.
Someone contacted me pretending to be the platform — what should I do?
Do not pay and do not share codes. Forward the message or a screenshot to our support address with the subject "Scam report", and if you have already paid, contact your bank at once and report it to the Garda (Ireland), Action Fraud (UK) or your local police. We take every report seriously and warn other members when a scam is circulating.
Are organisers and sellers allowed to ask me for payment outside the platform?
No. Organisers, artists and sellers agree not to request payment by phone, message or bank transfer for anything listed here — if one does, report the listing from its page and we will investigate. Paying inside the platform is what keeps you covered by our refund rules and Stripe's buyer protections.
Account & privacy
I forgot my password — how do I reset it?
Go to Sign in → Forgot password and enter your email. We email you a 6-digit one-time code (valid for 10 minutes); enter it, choose a new password and you're signed straight in. The code works even if you originally signed up with Google or Facebook — it simply adds a password to that account. If no code arrives, check spam, then request a new one.
How do I manage my data and consent?
Your Privacy dashboard lets you view consents, export your data, and request deletion. We're fully GDPR/CCPA compliant.
How do I delete my account and data?
Submit an erasure request from your Privacy dashboard, or email us with the subject "Privacy Request". We'll confirm and process it within the statutory timeframe.
Do you sell my data?
No. We never sell personal data. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what we collect and why.
